Lorian HOA Roof Update

Dear Owners,

The Lorian Board, along with our legal team of Joe Solomon and Bill Short, concluded our second mediation in Denver yesterday (Thursday, January 30, 2025). You may recall that our first mediation in August 2023 did not result in an acceptable settlement for the Lorian.

This mediation was different because it included more parties, which added complexity. Including the Lorian, there were nine (9) parties and approximately 37 participants in attendance, both in person and virtually. This was an intricate and drawn-out negotiation, as each party other than the Lorian had their own reasons for not wanting to compensate us.

After two very long days, we reached a settlement with each party in our legal dispute. The global settlement in favor of the Lorian is $2,250,000. I do not yet have a date by which the Lorian will receive these funds; however, I would estimate it will be within the next two months.

As a result of this settlement, the Lorian will not be going to trial in May 2025. There are many other details still to be worked out, so please stay tuned for an Owner meeting to be scheduled very soon. We look forward to finalizing this chapter of the Lorian’s roof and legal challenges.
